Dog grooming work

Dorothy Toni Alden - Founder, Owner, Professional Dog Groomer

With grooming being a lifelong commitment, Dorothy provides a safe and stress-free environment in her salon. Clients are free to roam throughout the salon unless specified to be kenneled by the client's owner. All breeds and dog temperaments are welcome! Upon request, individual grooming sessions can be provided for reactive and anxious dogs. Providing the best for all clients only allows all-natural grooming and cleaning products to be used in her salon.

DorothyToni Alden fell in love with the grooming industry when she started bathing dogs at The Shaggy Dog, LLC. She was hooked and decided to look into grooming schools. In 2014, Dorothy attended The Dapper Dawg Grooming School and completed her apprenticeship under master groomers Shelly Raymond and the late Jasper Asaro. A few months after Dorothy started her business, she was diagnosed with Lupus. Lupus is an autoimmune disease where Dorothy's organs attack themselves. Running a business and dealing with a chronic illness can be very hard. Dorothy cant thank her amazing clients enough for the support they have given her over the years. When Dorothy is not grooming you can find her with her four dogs Amina, Nikovich, Cubby, and Harley, playing in the woods at her home in West Townsend, MA.

Hi! I'm Christine! I am an experienced dog groomer from Los Angeles California. I’ve been in the grooming industry for 8 years and my love and passion for working with animals grows every day! I specialize in breed specific hairstyles, asian fashion style and doodles! 

SARAH 

Groomer
After working as a paralegal for several years, Sarah decided to take the leap and pursue a job she has always wanted to do – dog grooming. To help make this dream a reality, Sarah earned her Animal Care Specialist Certificate from North Shore Community College and also attended The Whole Pet Grooming Academy in Portsmouth, NH where she earned her Professional Pet Stylist Diploma. Sarah is excited to combine her lifelong love of dogs with her knowledge learned in grooming school to help dogs look and feel their best. When not working at the salon, Sarah enjoys hanging out with her husband Jesse and their mini schnauzer Fred, going for bike rides, and cheering for all the Boston sports teams.

Grooming Apprentice
Hi my name is Zoe and working at the wizard of Pawz has been an amazing experience! The team has been teaching me really good skills! I always knew I wanted to work with animals, being able to take care of them and spend time with them has been wonderful.
