With grooming being a lifelong commitment, Dorothy provides a safe and stress-free environment in her salon. Clients are free to roam throughout the salon unless specified to be kenneled by the client's owner. All breeds and dog temperaments are welcome! Upon request, individual grooming sessions can be provided for reactive and anxious dogs. Providing the best for all clients only allows all-natural grooming and cleaning products to be used in her salon.

DorothyToni Alden fell in love with the grooming industry when she started bathing dogs at The Shaggy Dog, LLC. She was hooked and decided to look into grooming schools. In 2014, Dorothy attended The Dapper Dawg Grooming School and completed her apprenticeship under master groomers Shelly Raymond and the late Jasper Asaro. A few months after Dorothy started her business, she was diagnosed with Lupus. Lupus is an autoimmune disease where Dorothy's organs attack themselves. Running a business and dealing with a chronic illness can be very hard. Dorothy cant thank her amazing clients enough for the support they have given her over the years. When Dorothy is not grooming you can find her with her four dogs Amina, Nikovich, Cubby, and Harley, playing in the woods at her home in West Townsend, MA.
