At The Wizard of Pawz, we believe in caring for dogs as whole, individual beings—not just focusing on their coat, but understanding their personality, comfort, and emotional well-being. Every dog is treated with patience, respect, and compassion, creating a calm and positive experience tailored to their unique needs. Dorothy Toni Alden

Owner/Dog Groomer

Dorothy, the proud owner of The Wizard of Pawz, lives in the close-knit town of Lunenburg, MA. She shares her life with her two beloved dogs, Amina and Nikovich, and is deeply family-oriented, drawing constant support and motivation from her brother Kenny. 

Dorothy was diagnosed in 2016 with systemic lupus erythematosus, an autoimmune disease in which the immune system mistakenly attacks the body’s own tissues. She has organ involvement, leading to ongoing medical appointments, treatments, and periods of illness that can make daily life very challenging. 

Hope

Dog Groomer

Hope has been grooming dogs for the past year and absolutely loves it. She is passionate about gentle, holistic grooming and is always learning new ways to keep pups happy, healthy, and comfortable. She specializes in deshedding treatments, tidy trims, and working with pups who are nervous and need special accommodations. Belly rubs, calm vibes, and lots of love are always included.
